This Letter of Intent outlines our approach, values, and expectations so you can determine if our service aligns with your relationship goals.

A Lasting Tie is designed for believers seeking a life partner for Biblical, Christ-centered marriage. Our service focuses on relationships rooted in shared faith, values, and vision - not casual dating, entertainment, or social networking. If you're looking for a godly spouse and are ready to invest in a serious, faith-based matchmaking process, we may be a good fit for your journey.

We strongly encourage participants to engage their own trusted pastors, mentors, or spiritual advisors throughout the matchmaking process. Your faith community's prayer and guidance are invaluable as you discern important relationship decisions. We believe that lasting marriages are built not just on compatibility, but on spiritual foundation and community support.

Our matchmaking process relies entirely on accurate, honest information. We expect participants to be truthful about their background, beliefs, relationship history, and life circumstances.

Authentic connections begin with authentic representation. Any form of intentional misrepresentation undermines the integrity of the process and prevents us from serving you effectively.

🧑‍⚖️ ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To receive services, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
  • Be currently single and free to marry under U.S. law and Biblical principles
  • Not be in a romantic relationship or civil union
  • Submit all forms truthfully and completely
Eligibility will also be verified in accordance to our internal standards for the background check. Failure to meet eligibility criteria will result in ineligibility for services.

🛡️ OUR VERIFICATION PROCESS

To ensure the safety and integrity of our service, we require:
  • Background checks through third-party consumer reporting agencies
  • Reference verification from pastors, mentors, or personal references (when provided)
  • Consultation sessions to assess spiritual alignment and readiness
These steps help us create a safe, trustworthy environment for all participants.

💰 INVESTMENT & PAYMENT STRUCTURE

  • No upfront payment required
  • Background check fee: ~$176 (paid directly to third-party provider)
  • One-time service fee: $2,500 (becomes due only after mutual agreement to proceed with an introduction)
  • All fees are non-refundable once services are rendered

🤐 PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

We maintain strict confidentiality throughout the matchmaking process. Personal information is shared only with your explicit consent and only as necessary to facilitate introductions. Participants are also expected to maintain confidentiality regarding other clients and the details shared during the matching process.

📍 OUR SERVICE APPROACH

Step 1: Express Interest - Complete our initial interest form
Step 2: Legal Agreements - Sign the comprehensive matchmaking services agreement which includes the recording consent
Step 3: Profile Creation - Complete the "Profile and Preferences" form
Step 4: Initial Consultation - 15-minute complimentary assessment
Step 5: Background Verification - Required background check. You pay approximately $175.76 to the vendor directly.
Step 6: Deep Dive Consultation - If you meet our internal eligibility standards for the background check and a potential match is identified in our system, 45-minute complimentary compatibility assessment
Step 7: Match Presentation - Receive potential match information
Step 8: Mutual Agreement - Both parties consent to introduction
Step 9: Payment & Contact Exchange - Fee payment of $2500 and exchange of contact information (Note: Service is considered rendered and completed once payment is received and detailed contact information is exchanged between parties)
Step 10: Introduction Meeting - If friends or family will attend your first meeting, sign additional consent forms
Step 11: Service Completion - Sign final completion agreement after the introduction

⚖️ LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Our services operate under multiple legal agreements that include:

  • Matchmaking Services Agreement - Primary contract governing our relationship and service terms
  • Service Completion Agreement - Final documentation after introduction is completed
  • Third-Party Consent Contract - Required if friends or family attend your introduction meeting
  • Privacy Policy - Comprehensive data protection and CCPA compliance
  • Terms & Conditions - Website usage and general service terms
  • Dispute resolution procedures with state-specific consumer protections for California, New York, and Colorado

📋 LEGAL FRAMEWORK INTEGRATION

This Letter of Intent is incorporated into and forms part of our comprehensive Matchmaking Services Agreement. By proceeding with our service, you agree to be bound by all governing documents, including the Matchmaking Services Agreement (primary contract), Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Service Completion Agreement. In case of any conflicts between documents, the Matchmaking Services Agreement takes precedence.
